Eventbrite is a global self-service ticketing platform for live experiences that allows anyone to create, share, find and attend events such as concerts, festivals, workshops, community events, and more.


Design Statement

We reimagine Eventbrite as a space where people connect through energy and fun. The goal of this design is to create community and celebrate shared experiences.


Objective

  • Make event meetups easy & accessible in order to further foster connections

  • Help users find budget-friendly events

  • Make it easier to coordinate and schedule events to allow groups to attend events together seamlessly

01: Find Your Fit


Problem:

User struggles to find events that fit their needs, especially since using the current filter shows unrelated results.

How it Works:

Users can use the advanced filter to find events that fit what they’re looking for. They will be able to see the match percentage and will also be able to compare events.


Benefit:

Helps user narrow down their options with an in depth filter which shows how compatible an event is for them. It can compare similar events for users to chose which one fits their values better.

02: Let’s Plan


Problem:

Users need an easier way to sign up for events with their group of friends while navigating schedule conflicts.

How it Works:

Users can create a group chat, set event time and day preferences, and use AI to figure out the best day to go to an event.

Benefit:

Creating a group chat and having AI predict the best day to go based on everyone's preferences makes it easier to sign up for events as a group and allows friends to easily discuss their plans.

03: Keep in Touch


Problem:

Users wants to elevate their career growth through networking, and they need a way of connecting and maintaining contact with peers.

How it Works:

Through conversation starter icebreakers, users are able to connect with one another and foster long term relationships. Rewards and badges are given and go towards future event discounts.


Benefit:

After participating in Let's Connect, users can find people quicker and be confident going to events with users they meet. Maintaining his new contacts outside events also became more fun and engaging.

04: Vibe Check


Problem:

Users need to know the reputation of event organizers and venues so they can pick the safest and most popular event.

How it Works:

Users can read insights about an organizer’s past events before purchasing a ticket. They can also rate, review, and answer polls during and after events to unlock rewards.


Benefit:

Users are able to view past event turn out and share their own experiences, which manages their expectations and helps others get informed.
